Sightsavers II

Nigeria, October 2012

In Africa 300,000 people have lost their sight because of river blindness, an easily preventable disease, and more than 37 million people are infected. River blindness is caused by flies that breed along river beds. Sightsavers is close to breaking the cycle of infection in some areas and eliminating the disease.
