Jhpiego

Jhpiego has been working in India since the 1980s, when it began to strengthen reproductive health services with funding from the U.S Agency for International Development in collaboration with the Government of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The India Country Office was set up in 2009. Currently, Jhpiego partners with the Government of India to implement a wide range of programs. These include improving the quality of maternal and newborn healthcare, enhancing midwifery training and reducing maternal mortality.
